The Bush Administration
George W.
Bush 2000, 2005 and 2007
PLEASE COMPARE WITH
BUSH'S VIEWS ON RELIGION:
"The National Government will regard it as its first and foremost
duty to revive in the nation the spirit of unity and cooperation.
It will preserve and
defend those basic principles on which our nation has been built. It
regards Christianity as the foundation of our national morality, and the
family as
the basis of national life."
-Adolf Hitler,
My New World Order, Proclamation to the German Nation at Berlin,
February 1, 1933

"The first step in a fascist
movement is the combination under an energetic leader of a number of
men who possess more than the average share of leisure, brutality,
and stupidity. The next step is to fascinate fools and muzzle the
intelligent, by emotional excitement on the one hand and terrorism
on the other. "
Bertrand Russell: Freedom, Harcourt Brace, 1940
* * *
"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny exercised for the
good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to
live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The
robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some
point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will
torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their
consciences."- C. S. Lewis (1898-1963), British novelist
***
"And so long as they were at war, their power was
preserved, but when they had attained empire they fell, for of the
arts of peace they knew nothing, and had never engaged in any
employment higher than war."
Aristotle (384BC-322BC)

Bush's "Christian" Blood Cult
- George W. Bush proclaims himself a born-again Christian. However,
Bush and fellow self-anointed neo-Christians like House Majority
Leader Tom DeLay, John Ashcroft, and sports arena Book of
Revelations carnival hawker Franklin Graham appear to wallow in a
"Christian" blood lust cult when it comes to practicing the
teachings of the founder of Christianity. This cultist form of
Christianity, with its emphasis on death rather than life, is also
worrying the leaders of mainstream Christian religions, particularly
the Pope. -

How Much Proof Needed Before the Truth Comes Out?
-
Now seven leaked British documents raise Iraq war questions -
- 'The Downing Street Memo—minutes of a meeting with Prime Minister Tony
Blair and his advisors that said the US was "fixing" the intelligence to

II, III, IV, V, VI and VII!
As the evidence mounts, the failure of the media to seriously
investigate the issues is baffling. Why aren't they interviewing current

the highest levels of British government? Isn't the media supposed to
investigate and get the truth for their readers and viewers?'

The
Faith-Based President Defrocked
- Like most Bush fictions, the latest are driven less by ideology than by a
desire to hide incompetence. But there's a self-destructive impulse at work
as well. "The best way to get the news is from objective sources," the
president told Brit Hume of Fox News two years ago. "And the most objective
sources I have are people on my staff who tell me what's happening in the

propaganda for effective action by falling for the same spin it showers on

The
Impeachment of George W. Bush
- Finally, it has started. People have begun to speak of impeaching
President George W. Bush--not in hushed whispers but openly, in
newspapers, on the Internet, in ordinary conversations and even in
Congress. As a former member of Congress who sat on the House
Judiciary Committee during the impeachment proceedings against
President Richard Nixon, I believe they are right to do so. -

Bush Could Seize Absolute Control of U.S. Government
- President George W. Bush has signed executive orders giving him
sole authority to impose martial law, suspend habeas corpus and
ignore the Posse Comitatus Act that prohibits deployment of U.S.

power over the government with no checks and balances. -

Bush
Authorized Domestic Spying Before 9/11
- The declassified report says that the "Director of the National
Security Agency is obligated by law to keep Congress fully and
currently formed of intelligence activities." But that didn't
happen. When news of the NSA's clandestine domestic spying
operation, which President Bush said he had authorized in 2002, was
uncovered last month by the New York Times, Democratic and
Republican members of Congress appeared outraged, claiming that they
were never informed of the covert surveillance operation. It's
unclear whether the executive order signed by Bush removes the NSA
Director from his duty to brief members of Congress about the
agency's intelligence gathering programs. -

You
Approve of Domestic Spying? Then Start With Skull & Bones!
- Let’s get it straight, you actually believe that the government
has the right to spy at will. You really think there’s nothing wrong
with listening in on domestic phone conversations or intercepting
personal e-mail or cell calls. You really have no qualms about
bypassing the courts and warrants to spy on Americans who might have
expressed opposition to the invasion of a militarily castrated
nation? You bought into the idea that secret government spying will
keep Americans safe. And you have no problem with spying on grass
roots peace organizations whose members walk around with signs
demanding a safer and friendlier world?

Bush and Saddam Should Both Stand Trial, Says
Nuremberg Prosecutor

Benjamin Ferencz, who secured convictions for 22 Nazi officers for
their work in orchestrating the death squads that killed more than 1
million people, told OneWorld both Bush and Saddam should be tried

Bush Administration Continues Funding Arab
States
- Just recently, the Bush administration announced plans to sell
$4.6 billion worth of arms to several Arab states including the
United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Jordan, Oman, and Saudi Arabia.
Military equipment listed for transfer to the Muslim states include
UH-60M Black Hawk helicopter gunships, AH-64 Apache helicopters,
M113A1 armored personnel carriers, Javelin anti-tank missiles, and
modernized MA1 Abrams tanks outfitted with such things as
air-conditioning and infrared sights for commanders and gunners.
Even more paradoxical is the fact that the Bush administration
recently offered citizens of Saudi Arabia scholarships to study
aviation in the United States. Can you believe this? -

Military Recruiters Work Hard
to Leave no Child off Their Lists
[A MUST-READ about
what Bush's policy "Leave No Child Behind" REALLY
means!!!
Reading this article could be the difference between
life and death for your teenager!]
- My daughter just started high school. This
milestone was marked by the arrival in our home of a
ream of paperwork. Along with the usual bureaucratic
permissions, I found tucked into this package a
seemingly innocuous form that carries extraordinary
consequences: Failing to fill it out might result in
my daughter being harassed, assaulted, or being
fast-tracked to fight in Iraq.
This form asks us if we want to opt out of having
our daughter's contact information sent to the U.S.
military. If we overlooked this form, or did not opt
out for some reason, our high school is required to
forward her information to military recruiters. This
is thanks to a stealth provision of the No Child
Left Behind Act of 2002. -

Congress just gave the President despotic powers and you could hear
the yawn across the country as people turned to Dancing With the
