Suicide
bombing is a new phenomenon to Iraq, introduced in the wake
of ‘Shock & Awe’ and the target is primarily police, who have
the tenuous task of building a democracy under foreign
occupation. The bombers intentions are destabilization of the
peace initiative by inciting civil war. Therefore, when a
civilian car failed to stop at a checkpoint and opened fire on
police, injuring one and killing another, security officers must
have been delighted when the two ‘insurgents’ were apprehended
and taken to jail.
Disguised as
Musab al-Zarqawi
and Osama bin Laden, when its not even Halloween, the suspects
turned out to be British
elite special forces. Their arsenal
included machine guns, anti-tank missiles,
explosives and a remote control detonator, not
the regular kit of SAS as reported by the BBC, but the weapons
of terrorists! Sheikh Hassan said, “We believe these soldiers
were planning an attack on a market or other civilian targets
and thanks be to god they were stopped and countless lives were
saved.” Amen!
Caught with their pants
down, these terrorists were about to get some ‘special
treatment’ and I don’t mean the sort reserved for prisoners at
Abu Ghraib. The militia could have extracted vital intelligence
from them, but Brigadier John Lorimer
had other ideas and ordered British troops to assault the police
station. Six Warrior tanks “accidentally” and illegally
demolished a wall in the compound to spring the Commandos from
captivity, letting one hundred and fifty inmates escape in the
process. Riots erupted!
By this standard,
Muslims have a right to blow a hole in Belmarsh Prison and
release detainees held without charge for three months. The
Governor of Basra, Mohammed al-Waili condemned the action as
“barbaric, savage and irresponsible” but the fiercest criticism
Conservative defense spokesman Michael Ancram could muster was,
that the government is guilty of “uncertainty” over its strategy
in Iraq. Then the coverage became “confused” by a “succession of
fast-moving events and conflicting reports.”
Jon Snow looked
embarrassed, lying on Channel4 News saying, “the soldiers were
kidnapped by Shiite militiamen” and Lieutenant Colonel Timothy
Collins, who retired when he should have been court martialled
for torturing innocent Iraqi’s, obliged the media with its
propaganda claiming, Mehdi extremists are sponsored by Iran. So,
the story was twisted into ‘our boys’ being ‘rescued from
executioners’ with Iran as the instigator who deserves decisive
reprisals in the preemptive war against terror.
Judging from the
undistorted facts, it is evident that many massacres in Iraq may
also have been undercover military operations and children
enticed by sweets to army humvees, appealing to hearts and
minds, are frequently the victims of these callous ‘suicide
bombers.’ But while Islam is unjustly slandered with a murderous
reputation, the Coalition, far from spreading freedom and
establishing stability in the Middle East, are succeeding in the
exact opposite, which was obviously the original plan.
