Since
9/11 a growing number of people around the world have jumped on the dark
bandwagon of war and
started
using words like "peacenik" and "peacemaker" as an insult. Yet many of them call
themselves "Christian".
They follow in the footsteps of the very extremist groups that they despise,
rejecting peace and embracing war as though it was the solution to all of their
problems.
In so doing so these men and women reject the commandments of Jesus and turn
their backs on the word of God:
"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God."
- Matthew 5:9
Cursed are the warmongers, for they will be called to account for rejecting the
word of God.
